Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and who else can see it. Short version: we collect what a booking needs and nothing else, and we do not sell any of it.
What we collect
When you book, we collect your name, email address, phone number and the address where the work will happen, along with what you told us about the vehicle or property. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email, and whatever you write in the message.
We do not collect or store card numbers. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe, who send us only a confirmation that a payment succeeded and the last four digits for reconciliation.
Why we collect it
- To schedule the job and turn up at the right place at the right time.
- To send you a confirmation, a receipt and, where relevant, a reminder.
- To take payment, before or after the work as you choose.
- To answer you when you contact us.
- To keep records we are required to keep for tax purposes.
Who else sees it
Three processors, each doing one job:
- Supabase hosts the database that stores your booking.
- Stripe processes the payment. Charges appear on your statement under Mazi Inc with a MAZICLEAN reference.
- Resend delivers the confirmation and receipt emails.
We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not pass it to anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are kept for seven years, which is what Canadian tax rules require. Contact-form messages are kept for two years. You can ask us to delete anything that is not covered by that retention obligation.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA and Alberta's PIPA you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent for us to contact you. Email info.maziclean@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party trackers. Your browser may store a small amount of data locally to remember where you were in the booking form; that never leaves your device.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting existing customers will be emailed.
